Product-focused software engineer
Raul Victor Queiroz
I take features from data model to shipped interface — owning the unglamorous parts that make products feel finished.
Selected work
Things I’ve been building
A few pieces that show how I think about product, interfaces, and the systems underneath them.
- Neat Private · in progress
An offline-first iOS app with a TypeScript API behind it. SwiftUI and MVVM on the client; Node, PostgreSQL, and infrastructure-as-code on the server.
- Uber Eats Current role
Software Engineer II on Uber Eats — shipping server-rendered interfaces and the layers underneath them for a high-traffic product surface.
- Substantia In progress
An evolving body of knowledge dedicated to understanding culinary excellence and, through gastronomy, culture itself.
Approach
End to end, on purpose
I’m a product-focused software engineer at Uber. Day to day that means Go and server-rendered UIs, plus the adapters, models, and data sources underneath — and I’ve also shipped iOS and machine-learning work there.
The through-line is ownership: clear data models, honest error states, and interfaces people actually enjoy using. I’d rather hold the whole feature than live on one side of an API boundary.
